The Winter’s Tale -

Leontes, King of Sicilia, has a loving wife, a bright young son, and a happy kingdom, but despite it all, he falls prey to his own jealousy. When Leontes accuses his wife, Hermione, of being unfaithful, he sets into motion his own downfall. But from these grim origins, The Winter’s Tale launches into one of Shakespeare’s most unexpected works, featuring lovely shepherdesses, charming con-artists, and a bear. A whimsical fable with pleasures for optimists and pessimists alike, The Winter’s Tale reminds us all that it’s never too late for redemption.
